Endorheic Basin

An endorheic basin is a basin where water is stored that does not outflow into rivers or lakes. Instead all of the water in the basin stays in the basin until it evaporates or seeps into the rocks.

Estosha pan is an endorheic salt pan, meaning that it stores water like an endorheic basin, and when its empty the ground is left as salt covered mud.

Sua pan is part of an endorheic ecosystem and fills up with water in the summer and stores it until April or May.

okavango delta

The Okavango delta is in Botswana. It was created by the Okavango river flowing into the land. Animals that live here are the African bush elephant, African buffalo, hippopotamus, lechwe, tsessebe,sitatunga, blue wildebeest, Angolan giraffe, Nile crocodile, Southwest African lion, South African cheetah, African leopard, brown hyena, spotted hyena, springbok, greater kudu, sable antelope,south-central black rhinoceros, southern white rhinoceros, Burchell's zebra, common warthog and chacma baboon. Notably theendangered Cape wild dog survives within the Okavango Delta,^[8] exhibiting one of the richest pack densities in Africa. The delta also includes over 400 species of birds, including African fish eagle, Pel's fishing owl, crested crane, lilac-breasted roller,hammerkop, ostrich, and sacred ibis.

Strengths

One strength I believe I have is my cooking skills. Ever since I was 5 years old my mother would teach me how to cook. Now that I am 17 I can make everything she can, just as good or better than her.

My favorite thing to do outside of school is just to text my faraway friends to keep in touch.

I would like to have a career as a cardiovascular surgeon.

To get into this career, first I would have to go through college, taking classes on the human anatomy and how the body works. Then I would have to get into medical school. After or during medical school, I will have to find a surgeon to train under. I will then have to establish myself while training, so I can get connections and a job. Then I will have to decide where I want to live and practice my job.

This class was definitely the most relaxing, I'm glad it's my first period of the day and I enjoy coming in here every day. Mr. Connor is the most helpful teacher I've seen, going around to make sure everyone knows how to do the assignment he gives. The work itself is nice, and I like being able to use these computers as I have Windows rather than Apple giving me experience working with these things. The assignments I had the most fun doing were the movie maker ones although I was shy with doing the holiday greeting one. I don't have anything negative to say about the class. Bye.

Hello future self

Hi, the date is January 22, 2016. Important events going on right now are the presidential debates. The way things are going right now we may have our first woman as president. I'm also cleaning up my schedule so I can start getting fit soon. Yup, this is the year you decided to try to do it, I guess you will be the one to know the results of this though. I hope I can become a surgeon, but it is possible that I may end up changing my mind in the future. Well thats it for now, maybe now that Mr. Connor made me do this I may end up making some more of these by myself. Bye.
